Lidia Goldberg is a documentary filmmaker, short-form video creative, journalist and student of the world. Her work explores local New York City stories, environmental justice and climate change. She previously worked at Soundings, a publication under Active Interest Media.
Goldberg is currently a documentary film Master’s candidate at Columbia Journalism School in New York City.
She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from New York University in broadcast journalism and environmental studies. She focused her studies on climate change effects specific to New York City, and on the environmental impacts of factory farms across the country.
Goldberg co-founded Love Interest Magazine in September 2022 and has had work published in Soundings, Passagemaker, Honey Suckle, and Sugar magazine. She has had video work published for Soundings, Power & Motoryacht and PopStyle TV. She is eager to work on video projects about New York City, international humanitarian and environmental issues, and animal justice.
